The book inspires one to treat life as a journey, rather than a sequence of destinations and goals that we typically set for ourselves. It made me realise that if we are too obsessed with goals, then the process unnecessarily becomes a tiring burden. It has also helped me in trying to become more of what I am today. |
The book constantly addresses the futility of external validation we all strive for, though I haven't had enough success in internalising this particular aspect. One of the really unique things about this book is its ability to help almost everyone find echoes of their own thoughts. |
The candid manner in which Hugh Prather narrates his own struggles and discovers his life's road map, is amazing. |
