Wipro Technologies made the next highest offer of Rs 9 lakh, followed by HSBC AMC's Rs 7.4 lakh. The highest fresher offers were made by Marico Industries and Godrej Consumer Products Ltd "" Rs 7.4 lakh and Rs 7.03 lakh, respectively. The average salary this year was Rs 5.24 lakh, compared to last year's Rs 4.65 lakh. |

Each student got approximately 1.75 offers, compared to 1.32 last year. Infosys made the maximum offers (16), followed by TCS and Kotak Bank (nine each) and Polaris (six); IDBI Bank, Cavin Kare, Wipro Technologies, Ramco, A V Birla Group, Citibank, Satyam and Sierra Atlantic made five offers each. |

National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai also completed its placement process for its MBA course. About 140 offers were made by some 65 companies; 85 students were recruited through the process. |

Infosys made the maximum offers (23), followed by Satyam (14), IBM (12), Wipro (12), Barclays Capital (eight), ICICI Bank (seven) and P&G and Asian Paints (six each). Students with pre-MBA work-experience were made the highest lateral offers. |
