BPL Ltd has, in an effort to step up its human and intellectual capital, embarked on an 11-year management cadre programme, which envisages each management trainee developing to become an individual business head.
The Rs 3,000-crore consumer electronics major has roped in 19 management graduates from the country's top B-schools.
In contrast to most other organisations, the recruits will be put through every aspects of the company such as logistics to human resources, commercial and finance to frontline and sales to customer care.

The culmination of the programme will eventually see each of the business heads ready to take on responsibilities under multi-product, multi-functional and multi-locational environment.
