3i Infotech shares rose 6.07 per cent to close at Rs 31.45 after the company launched a new facility in Bahrain. The Bahrain office would expand its presence in the fast-growing West Asian market from which it garners around a tenth of its revenues.
The new facility is expected to facilitate product implementation and provide solutions in the financial services sphere in those markets. The stock made an intraday high of Rs 32.9 and a low of Rs 30 with trading volumes of 9.11 lakh shares.
