Despite the overall volatility, it was a rather subdued week for Smart Portfolios — both in terms of returns as well as fund manager participation. The benchmark Smart Portfolios S&P CNX 500 index net worth grew marginally 0.8 per cent to Rs 11.17 lakh from Rs 11.08 lakh in the last five trading days. The benchmark's net worth is now up 11.7 per cent since the inception of Smart Portfolios on September 1, 2009. Ajay Parmar and Amar Ambani continue to outperform the benchmark.
