The Sensex is exhibiting high volatility today. The index, which opened with a positive gap of 159 points had soon zoomed to a high of 11,697 - up 306 points from the previous close.A fresh round of selling saw the index tumble all the way into the red to a low of 11,004 - down 693 points from the day's high. Following which, the index recouped all its losses and rebounded into the positive zone.However, the index has slipped back into the negative zone and is now down 27 points at 11,364.Hindalco has surged over 2% to Rs 196. Reliance has rallied 1.5% to Rs 1,020. SBI has spurted over 1% to Rs 919.BHEL has slumped almost 5% to Rs 2,010. Tata Steel and Cipla have shed 4.5% each to Rs 521 and Rs 234, respectively.Satyam and Dr.Reddy's slipped over 3% each to Rs 694 and Rs 1,505, respectively.Bajaj Auto, ACC, Ranbaxy, HDFC and Wipro are down over 2% each.
