A2Z Maintenance rallies on stake buys by Rakesh Jhunjhunwala

Jhunjhunwala and his wife, Rekha, collectively acquired almost 4% stake via open market purchase

A2Z Maintenance and Engineering Services has rallied 10% to Rs 112 in morning trades after high net worth investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala and his wife, Rekha, collectively acquired almost 4% stake in the company through open market purchase on Tuesday.

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala and Rekha Jhunjhunwala bought total 2.65 million shares representing 3.57% stake of A2Z Maintenance and Engineering Services for Rs 26 crore through bulk deal on the BSE and NSE.

As of March quarter, the two investors together held 14.17 million shares or 19.11% stake in the company.

As many as a combined 1.56 million shares have already changed hands on the counter so far, against an average sub one million shares that were traded daily in past two weeks on both the exchanges.
