The Indian ADRs were in the red yesterday as the US markets suffered their worst day in nearly a month on Monday as concern about the stalemate in U.S. budget talks and growing debt problems in the euro zone prompted investors to hedge against further losses.
Ahead of its results, Infosys had a bad time with the scrip losing over 3% along with banking giant HDFC Bank.
The other noteable losers were IT scrips like Wipro and Patni Computer Systems followed by Sterlite,ICICI Bank and Tata Communications which lost 2% each.
