Ahluwalia Contracts has surged nearly 10% to Rs 126, extending its 10% rally in past two trading sessions on NSE, after securing construction orders worth of Rs 615 crore.
On July 15, the company said it has secured new orders aggregating to Rs 614.85 crores (approx) for construction of institutional/commercial building, including electrical, plumbing & firefighting services.
Of the total orders, a order worth Rs 336 crore for construction of Police Head Quarters at Patna (Bihar) and Rs 203 crore for construction of Head Office for Punjab National Bank at Plot No.4, Sector - 10, Dwarka, in Delhi NCR.
The company secured Rs 63.45 crore order for civil works for proposed commercial cum rehab building, fashion index, Dadar, Mumbai. The company also secured additional civil work orders worth Rs 12.50 crore for sky suites project at Mumbai.
A combined 182,000 shares changed hands on the counter till early noon deals on NSE and BSE.
