Ahluwalia Contracts up after Franklin Templeton MF acquires shares

Franklin Templeton MF has acquired 417,868 equity shares at Rs 220.57 per share

Shares of Ahluwalia Contracts were up over 6% at Rs 240 after Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund acquired shares through a bulk deal on the National Stock Exchange.

Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has acquired 417,868 equity shares of Ahluwalia Contracts for its Franklin India Smaller Com scheme at an average price of Rs 220.57 per equity share, bulk deal data on the National Stock Exchange showed.

The stock opened at Rs 231 and touched a high of Rs 245. At 12:35PM, over 563,000 shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
