Optical fibre cable manufacturer - Aksh Optifibre – has surged 18% to Rs 22 levels after the company and Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) launched the ambitious Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) services for the first time in the country at Jaipur. The service will provide superior video and data services.
The stock opened at Rs 20 and is currently trading at day’s high level on the BSE. As many as 1.22 million equity shares have changed hands in the counter so far as compared to an average 105,000 shares that were traded in last two weeks.
The service will provide multi-play services with high definition content for BSNL’s over 35,000 customers in six districts of Rajasthan. The network has been built on the Gigabyte Passive Optical Technology.
