In choppy trade, almond futures prices reversed early weakening trend, traded higher by Rs 11 to Rs 374.50 per kg today on emergence of buying at lower levels, supported by rising spot demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, almond for delivery in October-month recovered by Rs 11, or 3.03 per cent, to Rs 374.50 per kg, with a business volume of one lot. It had lost Rs 11 to Rs 352.50 per kg in early trade.
Marketmen said fresh buying by traders at existing lower levels and pick up in demand in the spot market led to a recovery in almond prices at futures trade.
