Almond prices up on better offtake

Almond kernel rose by Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today on the back of pick-up in demand.

Elsewhere, other dry-fruit prices maintained last week's closing levels on some support.

Market analysts said better offtake by retailers and consuming industries mainly pushed up almond prices.

Almond kernel california prices went up by Rs 10 to close at Rs 380-385 per kilo. Almond kernel gurbandi also moved up by Rs 10 to finsih at Rs 340-410 per kg.
