In range-bound movements, aluminium traded 0.13% higher in futures trading today, taking positive cues from the London Metal Exchange (LME).
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for July delivery gained 15 paise, or 0.13%, to Rs 113.25 per kg, with a business turnover of 193 lots.
The metal for August delivery also strengthened by the same margin to Rs 114.20 per kg, with a trading volume of 10 lots.
At the LME, aluminium was slightly higher at $2,558 per tonne in early trade today.
Market analysts said a firming trend in the base metals pack at the LME, mainly influenced the trading sentiments at futures trade here.
