Tracking overnight gains at the London Metal Exchange and good demand in domestic spot markets, aluminium futures at the Multi Commodity Exchange rose by Rs 0.35, or 0.38 per cent to Rs 93.30 per kg today.

Aluminium for delivery in July contract also edged higher by Rs 0.35, or 0.38 per cent to Rs 93.30 per kg, with a turnover of 12 lots.

Likewise, the delivery in August contract also traded Rs 0.35, or 0.37 per cent higher at Rs 94 per kg in a turnover of one lot.

Market analysts said that besides overnight gains in entire base metals pack, good demand at domestic markets also supported the rise in aluminium prices at futures market here.
