Tracking a firming global trend, aluminium prices traded higher by 0.40% to Rs 114.30 per kg in futures trade today as speculators created fresh positions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in November traded higher by 45 paise, or 0.40% to Rs 114.30 per kg in business turnover of 1092 lots.
Likewise, the metal for delivery in December edged up by 30 paise, or 0.26% to Rs 115.70 per kg in 17 lots.
Meanwhile, aluminium for the contracts for delivery in three months rose 0.8% to $1,873.75 a tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
