Aluminium futures for May eased by 40 paise, or 0.39%, to Rs 101.90 per kg in 150 lots.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the April contract traded lower by 35 paise, or 0.35%, to Rs 100.05 per kg in 415 lots.
Prices fell as speculators reduced their positions amod subdued domestic spot markets demand.
Weakness in aluminium was mostly in tune with a downtrend in base metals at the London Metal Exchange (LME) on demand concern after lower-than-forecast growth in the US and China, the world's biggest consumers of the metal.
