Ambuja Cements up 2.9%; Hindalco, DLF down 2.4%

The NSE Nifty is up 8 points at 4,260.

Reliance has advanced 4.3% to Rs 2,226. Ambuja Cements has surged 2.9% to Rs 84. HDFC is up 2.5% to Rs 2,224.

Satyam has gained 2.3% to Rs 455. Wipro and ITC are up 2% at Rs 466 and Rs 190, respectively.

Cipla, L&T, Jaiprakash Associates, ONGC and Infosys are the other gainers.

Hindalco, DLF and RCom have lost 2.4% to Rs 143 and Rs 442 and Rs 490, respectively.

NTPC, Ranbaxy and HUL have dropped 2.2% to Rs 152, Rs 530 and 208, respectively.

Maruti, Bharti Airtel, Grasim and ICICI Bank are the other losers.
