The Association of Mutual Funds in India (Amfi) has scrapped the proposal to launch a transaction platform for mutual funds (MFs). The decision comes in the wake of a number of transaction platforms launched in the recent past. The National Stock Exchange, the Bombay Stock Exchange, ICICIdirect, and Cams and Karvy have launched MF transaction platforms in the last few months.
