Arhar, malka rises on retailers demand

Arhar and malka prices rose up to Rs 200 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today on pick up in demand from retailers.    

Traders pick up in retailers demand amid tight supply mainly pushed up wholesale arhar and malka prices.

In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety rose by Rs 100 and Rs 200 to Rs 4,050-4,150 and Rs 5,300-5,700 per quintal.

Malka local and best quality also gained Rs 50 each to Rs 4,050-4,100 and Rs 4,200-4,300 per quintal.
