The scrip recovered all its losses and finally ended flat in the positive zone at Rs 35. Around 2.67 million shares were traded on the BSE as compared to the two-week daily average traded volumes of 1.40 million shares.

Ashok Leyland has dropped on 84% drop in Q1 net profit.
The stock today opened at Rs 34.50 but slipped 4% to a low of Rs 33.50. It is now trading 2.5% lower at Rs 34.10. The counter has clocked over 618,700 shares.
The company announced a 84% dip in Q1 net profit at Rs 7.77 crore from Rs 50.56 crore in the corresponding quarter in the previous fiscal. Net sales dropped 51% to Rs 912.45 crore in Q1FY10 from Rs 1,887.98 crore in Q1FY09.
