Asian markets decline in early trade

Asian markets are trading lower followed by weak cues from the US.

The Nikkei Stock Average is down 1.2% at 9,008 to 25 month low as exporters weigh; yen continues to strengthen.

Shanghai Composite has also fallen by 0.2% to 2,634,  Hang Seng has fallen 0.4% to 20,815 on back of losses in energy producers.

Taiwan Weighted bucks the trend, is up 0.1% to 7,981.
