Asian markets were trading on a subdued note this morning. The Nikkei shed 1% at 10,382. Hang Seng was down 150 points at 23,629.
The Seoul Composite dropped 1% to 2,095. Shanghai Composite slipped nine points to 2,740. Straits Times was flat at 3,217.
Taiwan Weighted was unchanged at 9,103.
