Asian markets today mostly ended higher as they awaited the crucial US employment data.
The Hang Seng advanced 172 points to 17,390. The Nikkei added 47 points to 9,433. The Shanghai Composite ended 28 points higher at 2,626.
The Seoul Composite and the Taiwan Weighted indices rose 11 points each to 1,412 and 6,583, respectively.
However, Strait Times slipped 11 points to 2,231.

Asian markets have rebounded ahead of US empoyment data which is due to be released later tonight.
The Hang Seng is up 36 points at 17,254. The Nikkei has advanced 50 points to 9,436.
The Straits Times has gained 21 points (1%) at 2,262. The Seoul Composite has added five points to 1,406 while the Taiwan Weighted is flat at 6,574.
However, the Shanghai Composite continues to be in red, down two points at 2,596.

Asian markets shares have declined because of profit taking after the US bank tests.

The Hang Seng has dropped 104 points to 17,114. The Nikkei has declined over four points to 9,381.
The Straits Times has slipped 14 points to 2,228 and the seoul Composite is down four points to 1,397.
The Taiwan Weighted Index has tumbled 35 points to 6,537
However,the Shanghai Composite has added nine points to 2,606.
