Asian markets end +ve; Hang Seng up 250pts

The Asian markets ended on a flat note.

The Hang Seng advanced 251 points or 1.18%. The Nikkei added 33 points to 9,833.

The Shanghai Composite increased 25 points to 2,779.

The Straits Times ended marginally up at 2,644 and the Seoul Composite was up 18 points or 1% at 1,615.

The Taiwan Weighted Index dropped 106 points or 1% to 7,503.

Almost all the Asian markets are now flat.

The Hang Seng has increased 82 points to 21,324. The Nikkei has added 26 points to 9,826.

The Shanghai Composite has advanced 25 points to 2,779 and the Seoul Composite is marginally up at 1,609.

The Taiwan Weighted Index has slipped 107 points or 1.5% to 7,502 and Straits Times is flat at 2,632.

The Asian markets are currently trading in the green.

Hang Seng is quoting at 21,335, higher by 93 points or 0.4% and the Nikkei is at 9,849, higher by 49 points or 0.5%.

Straits Times is at 2,639, up 4 points or 0.1%, Seoul is flat at 1,599 and Taiwan Weighted is at 7,627, higher by 18 points or 0.2%.
