The Hang Seng has rallied 378 points to 22,906. The Nikkei has surged 134 points to 13,319.
The Taiwan Weighted index has advanced 216 points to 7,282. The Straits Times index has gained 52 points at 2,943, and the the Seoul Composite index has added 29 points to 1,591.
The Shanghai Composite index is up eight points at 2,854.
