The Nikkei gained 173 points to close at 10,443. The Hang Seng surged 365 points to 21,768.
The Straits Times and the Seoul Composite gained five points and 12 points to 2,679 and 1,695, respectively.
The Shanghai Composite and the Taiwan Weighted gained 60 points and 37 points to 3,060 and 7,477, respectively.

Asian markets rose on the back of US markets' rally.
The Nikkei has gained 121 points (1%) at 10,391. The Hang Seng has added 396 points (2%) to 21,799.
The Shanghai Composite has moved up 42 points (1.5%) to 3,042. The Seoul Composite has advanced 15 points (1%) to 1,699.
The Taiwan Weighted and the Straits Times are also up.
