The Hang Seng has rallied 373 points to 14,927. The Nikkei has moved up 46 points to 8,740.
The Taiwan Weighted index is down 15 points to 4,823. The Straits Times index has advanced 19 points to 1,897, and the Seoul Composite index has declined ten points to 1,171.
The Shanghai Composite index is down 23 points to 1,907.
