Asian markets mixed in early trades

The Asian markets are exhibiting mixed trend this morning. The US markets had ended last week on a negative note, and will be closed tonight.

The Nikkei has moved up 34 points to 9238. The Taiwan Weighted index has gained 66 points at 7397. The Seoul Composite has added six points to 1677.

The Hang Seng is down 36 points at 19,869. The Shanghai has slipped 26 points to 2357.
