The Asian markets have opened flat this morning. The Hang Seng is quoting at 19,738, lower by 47 points and the Nikkei is virtually unchanged at 9,911.
Straits Times is at 2,785, lower by seven points or 0.2%, Taiwan Weighted is at 7,357, lower by three points and Seoul Composite is unchanged at 1,662.
