The Asian markets have opened on an indecisive note, in the absence of any cues from Wall Street. Hang Seng is quoting at 20,620, stronger by 59 points or 0.2%, while Nikkei is at 9,694, lower by 100 points or 1%.
Seoul Composite is at 1,753, lower by four points or 0.2% and Straits Times is at 2,951, down one point.
On the other hand, Taiwan Weighted is at 7,727, higher by 13 points or 0.1% and Shanghai Composite is at 2,479, up nine points or 0.3%.
