Asian markets open mixed

The Asian indices have opened mixed with Hang Seng  quoting at 22,331, weaker by 9 points or 0.04% and the Nikkei has opened at 9,529, lower by 73 points or 0.7%.

Seoul Composite is quoting at 1,855, weaker by6 points or 0.3%, Taiwan Weighted is at 8,196, gaining 5 points or 0.06% and Straits Times is at 3,118, up 5 points or 0.1%.
