The Asian markets have started trading on a mixed note.

Hang Seng is quoting at 22,952, stronger by 72 points or 0.3% and the Nikkei has opened at 9,703, higher by 11 points or 0.1%.

Seoul Composite is quoting at 1,899, weaker by 5 points or 0.2%, Taiwan Weighted is at 8,302, up by 18 points or 0.2% and Straits
Times is at 3,176, down 13 points or 0.4%.
