The sell-off seems to have abated, atleast for the time-being. With the return of stability on Wall Street in overnight trades, Asia has opened mixed this morning.
Hang Seng is at 23,364, stronger by 150 points or 0.6% and Nikkei is quoting at 9,871, higher by 59 points or 0.6%. Seoul Composite is at 1,909, up 12 points or 0.6%. On the other hand, Straits Times is at 3,200, lower by 11 points or 0.3% and Taiwan Weighted is at 8,246, down eight points or 0.1%.
