The Hang Seng has surged 320 points to 13,153. The Nikkei has gained 159 points at 8,104.
The Taiwan Weighted index has soared 96 points to 5,057. The Straits Times index has advanced 24 points to 1,621, and the Seoul Composite index has added 26 points to 1,197.
The Shanghai Composite index is up 27 points at 2,308.
