Asian markets trade flat

Asian markets were trading on a lacklustre note this morning. Hang Seng gained 107 points to 22,816. Nikkei shed 12 points to 10,606.

Taiwan Weighted slipped 50 points to 8,786. Straits Times dropped 10 points to 3,094.

On the other hand, Seoul Composite advanced 12 points to 2,020. Shanghai Composite was up eight points at 2,826.
