Asian markets trade on a subdued note

Asian markets are trading on a subdued note this morning. Hang Seng has added 39 points to 21,697. Nikkei, however, has dropped 21 points to 9,301.

Taiwan Weighted has moved up 29 points to 8,121. Shanghai Composite is flat at 2,691.

However, Straits Times has dropped 14 points to 3,053.
