The Hang Seng has moved up 57 points to 13,633. The Nikkei has rallied 242 points to 8,352.
The Taiwan Weighted index has surged 100 points to 5,310. The Straits Times index has advanced 10 points to 1,710, and the Seoul Composite index has added 24 points to 1,230.
The Shanghai Composite index is up 14 points at 2,387.
