Asian paints has surged 5% to Rs 940 on good Q4 numbers.
The stock opened up Rs 2 at Rs 901. Around 3,673 shares have been traded on the BSE so far.
Asian Paints announced to the BSE yesterday, their net profit has increased 7% to Rs 101.14 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2009 as compared to Rs 94.52 crore for the corresponding quarter a year ago. The total income has surged 25% to Rs 1,436.28 crore in Q4FY09 from Rs 1,146.95 crore in Q4FY08.
