Asian markets surged today on the back of massive rally in the US markets after Citigroup said it was profitable in the first two months of 2009.
The Hang Seng surged 332.56 points to 12,027. The Nikkei rallied 321 points to 13,452, rebounding from a 26-year closing low hit this week.
The Taiwan Weighted index moved up 89 points to 4,760. The Seoul Composite index advanced 35 points to 1,127. The Straits Times index moved up 20 points to 1,505.
The Shanghai Composite index was down 19 points at 2,139.
