Avantel has firmed up on the bourses after bagging order from Indian Defence Services for supply of Satcom products worth Rs 6.6 crore. The stock is quoting at Rs 58, stronger by 1%, on the BSE. The shares had opened at Rsz 58 and have touched an intra-day high of Rs 60 thus far.
The company is into telecom and satcom, besides multi-media and internet applications.
