The gainers were""Ranbaxy up 1.84 per cent to $24.95, registering volume of 56,500 GDRs and Hindalco up 0.15 per cent to $32.80. The major losers were""Bajaj Auto down 1.63 per cent to $22.38, SBI down 1.19 per cent to $42.49, registering volume of 57,600 GDRs and L&T down 0.90 per cent to $27.50, registering volume of 2,000 GDRs. |

The ISDI, which represents the GDRs and ADRs of 15 actively-traded companies, declined by 0.85 per cent to 1,090.04 on April 6 as against 1,099.41 on the previous day. The ISDI price to earnings multiple also moved down by 0.74 per cent to 19.13 from 19.27, previously. |

Among the ISDI GDRs and ADRs, there were 11 losers and four gainers and among ISDI ADRs, one advanced and seven lost ground. The only gainer was HDFC Bank up 0.22 per cent to $31.32, registering volume of 54,200 GDRs. |

The major losers were MTNL down 4.01 per cent to $7.89, registering volume of 173,400 GDR, ICICI Bank down 2.74 per cent to $16.00, registering volume of 382,500 GDRs and Dr Reddy's Lab down 1.73 per cent to $23.80, registering volume of 257,300 GDRs. |

The GDR of Bajaj Auto slipped sharply to $22.38 from $24.63, previously. However, the GDRs of Ranbaxy Labs, Hindalco and ITC quoted higher to $25.08, $32.80 and $26.80, respectively, as against $23.87, $32.50 and $26.63, previously. |

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the world stocks were set to open near the unchanged mark on Wednesday in the US after earnings from certain companies failed to enthuse the market. Investors are still waiting to see the other results to see if it upto the hyped-up expectations. |
