Bajra eases on adequate supply, reduced offtake

Bajra prices declined by Rs 10 per quintal in the wholesale grains market today due to reduced industrial demand against adequate stocks.

Traders said reduced industrial offtake against sufficient supply led to a fall in wholesale bajra prices. Bajra lost Rs 10 to Rs 990-1,000 per quintal.

Maida also shed Rs 10 at Rs 770-800 per 50 kg in the absence of worthwhile support.

Following are today's quotations in Rs per quintal:

Wheat MP (deshi) 1,725-1,825, wheat dara (for mills) 1,230-1,235 chakki atta (delivery) 1,235-1,240, atta Rajdhani (10 kg) 175, Shakti bhog (10 kg) 175, Roller flour mill 650-670 (50 kg)

Maida 770-800 (50 kilos) and Sooji 860-880 (50 kg)
