Wholesale prices of bajra and maize fell up to Rs 30 per quintal in the grains market today due to reduced industrial demand amid increased arrivals from the producing belts.
Traders said increased supply in the market, against reduced industrial demand mainly pulled down wholesale bajra and maize prices.
Bajra prices fell by Rs 30 to Rs 950-960 per quintal on increased arrivals per quintal. Maize also lost Rs 10 to Rs 1040-1,050 per quintal.
