Base metal dips on global cues

Led by nickel and tin most of the base metal prices weakened further on the non-ferrous metal market here today on offloading on the back of lower London Metal Exchange advice.

Nickel dropped by another Rs 13 per kilo to Rs 1,117. Tin also declined by Rs 8 per kilo to Rs 962.

Copper utensils scrap quoted lower by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 336. Copper scrap heavy edged lower by Rs 2 to Rs 358.
