Most of the base metals rose at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to good stockists demand amidst bullish trend in global market.
Meanwhile, copper sheet cutting and brass sheet cutting both declined on subdued demand from industrial users.
Nickel and tin prices firmed up by Rs 5 per kilo each to Rs 1,140 and Rs 1,275 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 1,135 and Rs 1,270.
Copper cable scrap, copper armiture and copper wire bar moved up by Rs 2 per kilo each to Rs 401, Rs 380, Rs 429 respectively. Copper scrap heavy inched up by a rupee per kilo to Rs 392.
However, brass sheet cutting fell by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 273 as against Rs 276 previously and copper sheet cutting edged down by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 374 from Rs 376 last weekend.
