Most of the base metals rose at the non-ferrous metal market here today on renewed demand from stockists and good industrial buying amidst bullish trend at the London Metal Exchange (LME).
Meanwhile, brass and aluminium edged lower on subdued offtake from consumer industries.
Tin spurted by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,490 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 1,490 and nickel firmed up by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,300 as against Rs 1,295 previously.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy and copper wire bar gained by Rs 4 per kg each to Rs Rs 459, Rs 450 and Rs 487, respectively.
Copper armiture moved up by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 438.
Copper utensils scrap, copper sheet cutting, zinc and lead all inched up by a rupee per kg each to Rs 409, Rs 430, Rs 132 and Rs 117, respectively.
However, aluminium utensils scrap eased by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 102 and brass utensils scrap softened by rupee per kg to Rs 304.
