Bear hammering continues on Wall St

The Wall Street sinked yet again on the back of unabated selling. The Dow Industrial Average index plunged 312 points to 8,379. The Nasdaq shed 52 points at 1,552.

The Indian ADRs also ended in a sea of red. Sterlite tumbled nearly 17% to $4.01. ICICI Bank and Tata Communications slumped nearly 14% each to $12.44 and $15.90, respectively. Satyam, HDFC Bank, MTNL, Tata Motors and Dr.Reddy's were down 6-13% each.
