BEML gains on bagging orders from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation

The stock opened at Rs 1,248 and touched a high of Rs 1,263 on the NSE

Shares of BEML has gained 2% to Rs 1,244 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) after winning orders worth Rs 645 crore from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for supplying 74 broad gauge coaches. CLICK HERE FOR FULL REPORT

DMRC signed a contract agreement with BEML for design, manufacture, supply testing and commissioning of the coaches, the company said in a statement.

The stock opened at Rs 1,248 and touched a high of Rs 1,263 on the NSE. The stock hit a high of Rs 1,263 so far during the day, which is a 52-week high for the counter.

At 9:35AM, a combined of around 150,000 shares changed hands on the counter on NSE and BSE.
