BNY Mellon sells Rs 23 cr-worth shares in Apollo Hospitals

It sold 1,65,777 shares, 1,63,505 shares through NSE for Rs 22.74 cr and 2,272 shares through BSE for Rs 31.49 lakh.

The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation has sold 1.65 lakh shares in Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd through open market transaction for a total sale value of Rs 23 crore. According to a company filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange, the BNY Mellon had 45,14,551 equity shares, which is 3.2 per cent of the total shares in the hospital chain network.

It sold 1,65,777 shares, 1,63,505 shares through NSE for Rs 22.74 crore and 2,272 shares through BSE for Rs 31.49 lakh. With the sale, the shareholding of BNY Mellon in Apollo Hospitals Enterprise has come down to 43,48,774 shares, which is 3.13 per cent of the total shares.
